St. Timothy Parish seeks qualified organist for part-time stipend position, 2 (occasionally 3) weekends per month. Responsibilities include 3-4 weekend masses, plus a commitment to Christmas morning and Easter Sunday. (Our regular weekend schedule is 4:30 Saturday, 8am, 9:30 & 11am Sunday). You wouldn’t have to necessarily play Saturday and Sunday on the same weekend. Music Director is singer/choral conductor. No responsibility to play rehearsals, but you may be asked to play the occasional rehearsal for important events. Other parish events (Holy days, weddings, funerals, prayer services, Triduum) shared between the team.

Excellent keyboard and organ skills in a variety of musical genres required. Knowledge and experience with Catholic liturgy preferred.

Stipend is competitive and based upon experience.

St. Tim’s is a growing, happy parish with lots of young families, and our team is cooperative and flexible. This could be the perfect gig for someone who wants some weekends off or wants to play elsewhere occasionally.
