The Archdiocese of Boston Holy Hours for Life, Forgiveness and Healing are held annually in parishes in conjunction with the national observance of a Day of Prayer and Penance on January 22. The purpose of the Holy Hours is to bring Catholics together in prayerful solidarity for:
increased respect for the dignity of human life from conception to natural death
forgiveness and healing for all those wounded by abortion
peace for those facing death and terminal illness, and
holiness within the Church to transform the culture
The Holy Hours for Life are coordinated by the Boston Deacons for Life in collaboration with the Office of Diaconal Life and Ministry & the Pro Life Office of the Archdiocese of Boston the Pro Life Office. 2025 marks the 17th year that the Holy Hours for Life have been offered. All are welcome to join.
