Ministry Coordinator (FT), Dover and Sherborn Catholic Community, MA

The Dover-Sherborn Catholic Community (DSCC) is a vibrant collaborative made up of Most Precious Blood Parish in Dover and St. Theresa Parish in Sherborn. It is a wonderful community with delightful people. We currently seek a full-time “Ministry Coordinator” to grow the DSCC through pastoral care, liturgy and sacraments, outreach, and community building.

Duties

• Pastoral care and ministry.
• Strategic Planning.
• Liturgical and sacramental needs.
• Coordinates parish ministries and programs.
• Leads communal prayer when needed and liturgically appropriate.
• A visible presence to the DSCC at liturgies, events, and activities.
• Available to parishioners for help with personal concerns and parish projects.
• Willing to assist parishioners in a time of need.
• Backfills for the Pastoral Associate when needed.
• Relates to collaborative, vicariate, and Archdiocesan structures in teamwork.
• Assist in the executing of DSCC social and hospitality offerings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in pastoral or theological studies (a Master’s degree is preferred).
• Experience: Three years of experience working in a parish setting as a leader.
• Community: Excellent around children, teens, and families.
• Protecting God’s Children certified (or acquire such certification).
• Team: A team player, a collaborator, kind, caring, and personable.
• Faith: Support the mission of the Catholic Church.
• Ability to lift up to twenty pounds.

Details

• Salaried at 50K yearly.
• RCAB benefits eligible.
• Full-time at 30 hours per week.
• Mostly in-person work, but with some hybrid flexibility.
