In his first ordination of priests as Archbishop of Boston, Archbishop Richard G. Henning will ordain six men to the Priesthood this Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross. The Ordination Mass begins at 10:00 a.m.
Archbishop Henning said, "I give thanks to God for this joyful duty of ordaining these six men to the priesthood of Jesus Christ. Called by the Lord, they have been shaped by family and community and formed for priestly ministry by the excellent seminaries here in the Archdiocese. I pray that the Lord will draw them to His Sacred Heart and strengthen them in the generous gift of their lives in service to His people."

The youngest of the four children of Enrico and Francesca (Turco) Caruso, he was born in Naples, Italy, on Dec. 12, 1992. Raised in the Naples area, his home parish was Santa Maria delle Grazie in Brusciano. His pre-undergraduate education was also in the Naples area with elementary school at Istituto Pariatrio Il Cigno, Middle school at Istituto Comprensivo Eduardo De Filippo, and high school at Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale Ettore Majorana. He started his undergraduate studies in electrical engineering in Italy at Università Federico II di Napoli and completed his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at St. John Seminary, Brighton in 2016.
He is an alumnus of Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary, Brookline and has been serving his deacon assignment at Immaculate Conception, Revere.
Father Caruso will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving at the Revere parish on May 18, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. He will also be the homilist of the Mass.
A native of the Connecticut seaside town of Old Saybrook, Father Daley was born there on Oct. 10, 1987. He is the son of Robert and Susanne of Old Saybrook and has five siblings: Jeffrey, Mallory Bentley, Gregory, Alison Czaja, and Erin Dunn.
St. John Parish was his home parish, and he attended local public schools before being enrolled at the parish school and then commuting to St. Bernard High School in Uncasville, Connecticut.
He was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay in 2010. Prior to entering St. John Seminary, Brighton, he worked for almost a decade in multiple merchant marine-related positions, including a stint at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth.
During his deacon year, he served at Sacred Hearts Parish, Haverhill.
Father Daley will celebrate three Masses of Thanksgiving:
Sunday, May 18 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Church, Dedham, with St. John Seminary faculty member, Father Joseph Briody as homilist.
Sunday, May 25 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Hearts Church, Haverhill, with the parish’s pastor, Father John Delaney, as the homilist.
Sunday, June 8 at 11 a.m. at St. John Church, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, with its pastor, Father Grzegorz Brozonowicz, as the homilist.
The oldest of the three children of Carolyn and the late Brian Delaney, he was raised in Lowell and graduated from Austin Prep, Reading. He was granted a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire in 1992.
He was married for 36 years to his late wife, Nancy, who died in 2017. He is also the father of Erin of Salem.
An alumnus of Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary, Weston, he has been a deacon at St. Veronica Parish, Burlington. He will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Joseph Church, Amesbury, on May 18 at 9:30 a.m. He will also be the homilist of the Mass.
An alumnus of St. John Seminary, Brighton, Father Nguyen was born on Nov. 4, 1987, in Y Yen, Nam Dinh, Vietnam. He is the second youngest of the six children of Thuoc and Sen (Hoang) Nguyen.
All his education prior to entering St. John Seminary, Brighton, was in his native Vietnam. Yen Tho elementary and middle school, My Tho secondary school, the college of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ha Noi, and St. Joseph Seminary, Ha Noi, receiving the Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2016.
During his diaconate, he has been serving at Holy Ghost Parish in Whitman, and it is there that he will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving on May 18 at 4 p.m. with the parish’s pastor, Father Adrian Milik, as the homilist.
The youngest of the six children of Claudio and Maria (Oliveira) Martin, he was born on Sept. 21, 1990, in Jundiai, São Paulo, Brazil. His home parish in Brazil was São João Batista Precursor in Curitiba. He attended schools in his native Brazil, including his elementary and middle school, Escola Estadual Paulina Pacifico Borsari, and high school, Escola Tecnica Tupy, all in Curitiba, Parana. Following secondary school, he attended the Faculdade de Tecnologia Ensitec, studying mechanical engineering.

Born on Sept. 15, 1995, in Hanoi, Vietnam, Father Pham is the youngest of the three children of Tru and Ben Pham. He was educated in Vietnam, at Minh Tan School in Hanoi for primary and middle school, and Phu Xuyen, also in Hanoi, for secondary school.
He graduated in 2017 from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, where he had studied Industrial Management. In 2021, he was awarded a Bachelor of Philosophy degree from St. John Seminary, Brighton.
An alumnus of St. John Seminary, Brighton, he has been serving his deacon assignment at Resurrection of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and St. Paul Parishes, Hingham.
He will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Ambrose Church, Dorchester, on May 17 at 5 p.m., with St. John Seminary Vice Rector Father Thomas Macdonald as the homilist. He will also celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving in his native Vietnam when he returns there to visit sometime after his ordination.
